Audi believes that safety and performance are not mutually exclusive. Extensive airbag programs, the Audi backguard system, a rigid body shell and three point seat-belts are all evidence of Audi's increasing insistence on producing safe vehicles.
Airbags
Full-size airbags for driver and front passenger are triggered in two stages: Front knee and side airbags.
Self-Supporting Tires
Performance or all-season tires paired with Tire pressure monitoring system help insure that tire pressure is always at a safe level or that there will be run-flat capability in the event of pressure loss.
quattro®
The Audi TT 3.2 Coupe is the only sports car in its class with permanent all-wheel drive. quattro® distributes power efficiently between the front and rear wheels, thus increasing traction, propulsion and safety in all situations.
Audi backguard system
If the car is struck from the rear, the seat is shaped to restrain the occupant’s upper body and support the head at an early stage.
