The Bang & Olufsen advanced sound system for the Audi A8 takes into

14 loudspeaker units surround you
Each unit is custom-made for the Audi A8 and powered by its own, dedicated
amplifier. This enables precise control over each unit’s tonal characteristics,
making it perform to its precise role in the acoustic concept. You will
experience how Bang & Olufsen sets completely new standards for sound
performance in the car.

A virtual stage rises in front of you
Automatically rising from the dashboard when the sound system is engaged,
the two Acoustic Lenses ensure an extremely detailed acoustic staging, from
any seat of the car. Acoustic Lens Technology (ALT) provides a detailed,
horizontal staging of the music, in front of the listener. The sound is radiated
a full 180 degrees, eliminating the limited, directional beam of conventional
tweeter designs. This design allows you to have a full stereo experience regardless of where you are seated in the car paired with an experience of
natural presence and clarity.

The lenses appear with refined mechanical movements, and disappear again,
when the sound system is turned off. The Acoustic Lens Technology was first
introduced with BeoLab 5, Bang & Olufsen’s premium loudspeaker concept for
domestic use.

The full spectrum
The subwoofer is built into the parcel shelf that also houses two full-range
